The Happy Hacking Keyboard comes in two main versions, the standard and the professional. The HHK is a compact keyboard designed to minimise the amount of stretching around a keyboard that the typist has to do. It is aimed mainly at programmers and geeks, hence the name. But it would be a great keyboard for anyone with limited space on their desk, who has smaller hand or just wants a minimalist but high quality keyboard. I’m going to be focusing more on the professional model, mainly because I like it more. But in a vague kind of order I’m going to discuss the standard model first.
The standard model has been through two incarnations to the best of my knowledge. The original HHK and the HHK Lite II. The HHK is aimed squarely at *nix users and includes cables for various models of unix workstation. The HHK Lite 2 is more for PC and Mac users. It has a few keys that are found on a Mac keyboard and sports a few USB ports. It is the cheapest model in the range.
I’m going to post this up and then put up a post in a while about the pro model. I’ll then merge the two posts probably.
Has been rather odd so far. But generally quite nice. TG and I had a very nice pizza on saturday evening. I’d borrowed a copy of Lost for her from a mate at work so she spent a nice afternoon/evening watching that while I mooched on the net. Today followed a similar pattern. She watched lost and I mooched online. I’ve installed a bunch of software on the server that runs this site. Got rid of a site that was previously on here, but the guy that runs it no longer wants to run it. I’ve done the usual packing related activities ready for the week. Just got the 6:30am wake-up and drive to look forward to.
As supposed in my previous post any blogging has gone totally downhill. I think it is mainly an activity I do a lot of when I’m not busy with other things, eg work, essays etc.
And now I’m out of things to say. Ought to try and write more useful tech type stuff on here.
Well. It has been a long time since anything meaningful came up on here. As I mentioned in the previous post work has kept me from posting much. I am working about 70 miles away from where I live, so to keep me sane I’m staying in a B&B about 10 miles away from my place of work. Which doesn’t have an internet connection :(. So I’m only online during the weekends, which are generally fairly hectic. Making it hard for me to find the time to post, as obviously spending time with TG is more important.
